  We used this to steam grapes to make our own grape juice. SO much easier than crushing or blending and straining. Also used it to cook a chicken which came out moist and had a lot of broth for later.

  Overall this worked exactly as described. Was very well packed and arrived with no damage to the box or the steamer inside. I was able to set it up quickly and was cooking my first batch of grapes for jelly in about 5 minutes. My only setback, don't depend upon the hose clamp to completely seal off the hose. The juice will be under a small amount of pressure and will force its way past the clamp. I used the clamp to hook the hose into the top of a quart mason jar to catch the overflow. got 4.5 qts of juice from 3 gallons of wild grapes. Worth the money IMHO.

  It does the job: separates the juice from the fruit. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that the handle on the lid could be better designed. It is hard to get a good grip, especially when hot and needing to use a pot holder. Other than that one thing, it works.
