  Works took long time for me get yard done it did work probably should of bought bigger one my yard i used on was 12fx30f and had thick mat under grass was choking it out

  I used it to power rake (dethatch) my lawn in preparation for planting winter rye — green lawn all winter. The machine was easy to use and the result was excellent. My yard is 1/4 acre and it took me about 3 hours to do 2 passes (2nd pass was perpendicular to the 1st pass). Literally every seed germinated (planted mid-November in North Carolina). Did the same with my neighbor’s yard and also loaned it to a friend who did his yard. We have the only green lawns in the neighborhood. Well-built durable machine. Wish the bag were bigger. I tugged along a large wagon that I dumped all the thatch in, then periodically emptied the wagon. This machine pulls up huge amounts of thatch (200 lbs for my small yard).

  This is effective thatcher for the price.

  The collection bag is too small so it's a waste of time. Be prepared for some raking up of thatch. You need to have a long enough power cord for your property and be careful not to run over it.

  Wish I had bought it years ago.

  I love this thing. Bought a good battery to go with it, and have never looked back. My gas can is gathering dust out in the garage.
