  It holds me and my fiance. It did take a good bit of effort on his part to go into the attic and make sure this was braced in since the mounting bolts were just far enough apart that would couldn't simply drill into the ceiling joists. So it took about an hour or so to get it up there but we love it! The cushion thickness could be better but at some point I will probably replace that anyway. However, it REALLY repels water! And also seems pretty stain resistant too.

  Not easy to assemble

  Most of the pre drilled holes were too small and had to be retapped to get the screws to go in. Seems like a good quality piece but definitely not easy to assemble

  Looks and feels great

  Just arrived today and I put it together myself with no problems (I'm a 71 year old woman). Although I did need help from my husband to help hold it up while I hung it. My youngest grandchild outgrew our swingset so I took off the swings and the slide and put this on it. There was definitely more than enough chain for it. It looks great - even better than the picture I think and is comfortable. It seems plenty sturdy, too. So far so good. I'll update if any issues occur.

  The assembly isn't complex, but because there are about a dozen screws that need to be put in using an L wrench, it will take forever. On my particular purchase, there were two holes that were drilled off-center, making it difficult to insert two of the screws. It took a lot of pushing and tugging to get those two to align and then I was unable to screw them all the way in. Otherwise, it looked nice when done. Hung easily to the bar we already had. Just FYI - this does not come with hanging hooks or bar. This is just the bench and chains, so if you're planning to hang this, which is what it's intended to do, you'll need to have something to hang it to and attach it with.
