This cup has become my new best friend, riding shotgun with me on every car ride! It has held my hot coffee, hot cocoa and just recently when I wanted to take my lunch on the road......mac & cheese! I also have used it for cold items like iced tea, seltzer and lemonade. It is easy to clean and I like that the stainless steel does not take on odors like plastic would. This allows me to easily switch between hot coffee and cold water without tasting hints of former beverages. This does a good job of keeping hot things hot and cold things cold for extended periods of time. For even better performance, pre-heat or pre-chill your cup and you will extend the hot/cold temp even longer. I once left my cup out in the car overnight and in the morning, it still had ice in it! Plus, with the double wall of insulation, your cup will not sweat with cold items inside and when using with hot items, you will not burn your hands! A cup like this will help you break the habit of disposable Styrofoam cups and plastic "to-go" lids. Fill up at home or when you are on the go. My local coffee shop is happy to fill up my reusable coffee cup and even charges me a little less because I bring my own cup! I took off a star because my flip lid does not lock into place like it should. This is a minor inconvenience, but the lid should click into the open position and should click closed. Mine tends to pop open. I do like that there is a rubber straw hole covering that can seal the straw hole when not in use. This helps avoid splashing when driving and helps keep in the heat. I hand wash my cup, it's wide mouth makes it easy to get your hand down inside to clean, but it does say you can put it in the top rack of the dishwasher. Another plus is this arrives nicely gift boxed and ready to give to your favorite commuter! But this one I am keeping for myself!

I bought these cups because I wanted something for my iced coffees. They are the perfect size, durable, easy to clean, and would recommend to anybody. They are great for the price!
