Key Features

● Premium Remo Drumhead: The banjo has a Remo skin drumhead and a solid Sapele back, which build up a premium resonator for quality and professional sound. The head has 24 steel brackets to fix the drum skin, in order to make the banjo sound stable and also to be able to tune easily.
● Precise Tuning to Maintain Accuracy: There is an adjustable truss rod to balance the tension caused by strings or climate change. An Allen Key and wrench are also available to manually keep the desired sound. And it also has a digital tuner to easily tune the instruments for playing blues, hillbilly music, and more.
● Exceptional Quality for Comfortable Play: The maple bridge with precut snaps provides a stable string sitting for a quick response with less unwanted sustains. Inlaid with cupronickel frets and steel strings, this banjo has clear board points. Besides, the closed chrome-steel tuner on the solid nato wood neck guarantees a stable tone.
● Open Back Satisfies Different Needs: Featuring an open back design, this banjo offers 2 ways of play to meet varying demands. The close resonator makes a warm and soft sound compared to the open back play's bright plucked sound. And it sounds like a banjo, but plays like the guitar of standard tuning of EADGBE.
● Full Size with Beginner's Kit: The full-size banjo measures 39 inches long for both juniors and senior players. It includes a gig bag for portability, a tuning wrench and Allen Key, a strap, polishing cloth, extra strings, picks, and a digital tuner. The banjo is suitable for both beginners and seasoned players.

Great value -- READ THIS REVIEW if you want a banjitar/\banjo guitar

So, the thing with these bajitars is that they sound very quiet and poor, because you have to get the right strings and put them on correctly. If you just play the strings they send, it'll sound super muffled and quiet and you'll be disappointing. Not sure why they don't provide more instruction. However, do a youtube search on what to do and you'll get some great tips. Once you get the right strings on, and in the proper place, you'll be really happy. Its not as simple as low string on top and high string on bottom. Then you can just play it like a guitar with that blue grass sound. I love mine now. It also pays to get it set up at a guitar store. Its an extra 50$ or so, but you won't regret it. Cheap/inexpensive guitars almost universally HAVE to be set up. 95% of buyer disappointment when buying cheap guitars/basses, is lack of set up!

    Needs professional setup

The 6 string banjo came labeled with Sonart on the headstock. I was kinda hoping it would be left blank like the pictures in the ad. Took little over a week to be delivered. No sharp frets or anything. Tuning pegs work. Bridge is garbage but it’ll work for now. Would be nice if it came with a paper gauge or something to set the bridge length up. The action on this thing is absolutely horrible. Out of the box so far it plays, feels and sounds like a $150 toy. I’m gonna take it to a music shop next week and get it professionally set up before I cast anymore judgement on it.

I got what paid for: Slight crack at the base of the neck.

Slight crack on the base of the neck, very high string action. I recommend looking at a different Banjo company.

  • Q:
Is the banjo right hand or left hand type?
    A:
The banjo is a right hand instrument. If you want to change your left hand, you need to change the strings, top chord pillows, horse bridges and guard boards.

  • Q:
    Is it right handed ?
    A:
It is available to right handed, but it needs the professionals to adjust the position of the strings..
