  I purchased this for my 22 month old grandsons upcoming birthday. Since it's still 2 months away my husband put it together to be sure all was good upon delivery. Very easy to assemble. The back attached firmly and locked securely into place. It does slide on our bare floor however I can and will remedy that by putting a small rug with a rubber backing under it or by putting my living room carpet back down. My grandson will be delighted having his own big boy recliner with a place to hold his cup of apple juice/water. I already knew before purchasing this that it doesn't have a lever to recline it however thats no issue. I'm sure he will find a way to work around that. It reclines easily yet holds the reclining position when empty therefore I'm assuming once he puts his weight on the seat it will still retain it's reclined position.   I have a 20 month old that sits in this chair a lot. She loves that she can recline back and watch tv with her milk and feel like she has some freedom. The only complaint I have is that it takes her a lot of effort to recline it and requires parental assistance. Other than that though it's very comfortable and very durable. I know this because his brother likes to parkour off of it.

  This is a wonderful chair. Would have 5 stars if my 4 year old could recline alone. It also doesn’t stay reclined very well. Over all good purchase and she likes it
