  I want to love this fan. Really appreciate how lightweight and uncomplicated it is. Assembly was pretty straightforward (apart from the missing instruction to unscrew the bolts on the bottom prior to adding the stand attachment). My biggest complaint is the oscillation noises are really random. Sometimes completely silent, other times it sounds like a lawnmower in the distance outside (instantly annoying). There’s really no way to access the motor to try to at least get a consistent sound, so I’ve mainly forgone the oscillation all together so I don’t wake up to the sound of a struggling motor whirring. Oh, and the fact that the oscillation continues even if the fan itself is off is kind of hilarious- who thought of that one?
