  It was a gift for my sister. She loves it, however the top cap fell off after only a week. Of course the umbrella is too heavy to lift out of the base and put the cap back on, so she’s using it without the cap. It looks like the cap might screw on but it’s hard to tell if you can’t see the top of the umbrella.

  I love this umbrellas. The quality is good. This covering is light-weight and slightly see-through but give enough shade.  I have not had it long, however, so I cannot say how long it will hold up over time, but it has the look and feel of decent quality, much better than what I would normally expect at the price I paid.
