  Construction is sturdy enough, but the paint is a serious problem

  I was planning to buy 12 of these chairs, but started with 2 to see what they are like. I bought them because they are made of aluminum, and I figure they won't rust. They are also sturdy enough, and you can sit on them without a cushion at least for short periods of time. They are not difficult to assemble if you pay attention to what you are doing and take your time. I am concerned about the paint job, though. The first photo I uploaded is after taking the arm rest out of the bubble wrap packaging. That's right: it hadn't even been assembled yet, and the surface of the arm has lost a surprising amount of paint. Examining other parts of the chair shows other spots where the paint is off. These haven't even been put into service yet! This is not a good sign that the paint will hold up under normal use. I'm now looking for touch-up paint for my brand-new chairs.

  Purchased for a patio set. Fairly easy to assemble; could use a third hand , but you can do it yourself. I'm well pleased.

  Chairs are very shiny and sturdy. I bought them because the reviews were good and they didn’t disappoint. The lattice design is very pretty too.
